Yamaha maintenance reminders displaying on Garmin - how to reset?

I have a single F300 on my 2019 2520. It uses the Yamaha 6YC display unit which is NMEA2000 networked. Every time I energize the engine, Optional and Standard maintenance hour reminders pop up on the Garmin MFD and have to be cleared. I've gone into the 6YC multiple times, went through the menu to find the reset Service and reset them. This seems to have no effect, I still get the warnings/reminders popping up. I'm looking for how to get these to actually reset.
