Mr. Heater in a 2120 SC

I use one in my 2120 during the fall/winter but don't have it mounted. I just have it sit on the floor either right in front of the door or right in front of the center cushion of the v-birth. Will only slide in really rough weather but that's when it gets shut down. Mine is an older unit...

installed a windlass on my 2320

I did the pro fish 7000 install on my 2120, have lewmar 8 plait rode, on occasion the splice between chain and rode does get "stuck" As it gets to the winless. I have found that as long as you bring it up onto the winless slowly there is no issue. On a very rare occasion I will have to reverse...

Non skid in cockpit of 2320

OK call me cheap, but at 6'2" a hat and boots on I am very close to the top of the pilot house. I didn't want to add something that would add another 1/4 - 1/2", so remember grandma's shower mat? Cheap, flat, does not hold moisture and easy to remove for clean up's, best thing I have found so far.

    Radar interference

Toward the end of last season I added a Garmin gmr 18hd dome antenna to my garmin 740s. All went well and radar/gps works just fine. It was not till a few weeks later that i realized a problem with the radar interfering with 2 channels on my vhf, only 2 channels? By this time the weather...

    2320 question

The newer 2320 and the 2120's have the same step down. You will hit your head at first but learn quickly to "duck". Your guests however can be a different story, I always give them a warning when the first board. Keep in mind this step down lowers the profile of the boat and as a drift...

So did we decide if the 4degree wedge was needed on the 2120 with the strut?

Garmin 740S mounted on/in dash? Any issues?

Need to replace my Garmin 182c chart plotter that is dash mounted on my 2120, looking at the Garmin 740 and 547. Just noticed that the 740 is claiming to need 32" from our compass? Impossible in our 21-23 foot Pilot houses, center consoles without hanging it. I know some of us have this...

2120 owners please help re notched transom

I have had my 2008 2120 since new, one of the first things I did was remove the splash well, gives me 2' more fishing room. Only time I have ever taken water over the transom was when drift fishing and another jerk goes by on plane and throws a large wake at the stern when we are standing back...

    Replace Helm?

My boat/motor are both 2008, I have replaced both already, the ram over the winter and the helm after just 2 1/2 years.

    1 Trim tab down

I just had the same problem. All last year could hear the motor running but nothing out of the starboard side tab checked all the connections without luck. This winter I was ready to replace the actuator but decided to have a friend manually push down on the tab (it was stuck all the way up)...

    Lewmar Profish/Freefall Windless Question

I have had the profish 700 installed for just over 2 years now and a small issue has developed. When freefalling the anchor the 8 plait rode will often "jump" out of the gypsy just after the anchor hits bottom. Almost like a a reel over running it self. The rode jumps out and gets...

    Hurricane Sandy

Managed to ride out the storm at the dock here on the south shore of Long Island, made it down there at low tide this am, and all looks good will know more tomorrow afternoon. Boats on dry dock in the neighboring marine all floated off their stands, what a mess they are all over the place.

    Helm chair slide adjustment

Silly I know but does gets uncomfortable on long runs. The fore/aft slide on the my captains chair has broken twice now (the nylon/plastic sleve has cracked/broken/fallen out). This causes the seat to wobble in any position. Parker has replaced the nylon piece for me already, I managed to...

    12.4 lb 31" Fluke/Summer Flounder

Thanks, It is a ut-29 gallon Ultra tank/well. To answer you in short does it list when full, yes. But easily correctable with the tabs when moving and I drift fish for the most part and fish/stand on the starboard side/stern most of the time to avoid the tank and station and it balances the...
