Thanks for the reply Brad. Yes, I'm talking about installing under the gunnel as you described. The attachment stripe is a new thought, thanks for that idea.

Can any of you guys out there who have fabricated false walls in your pilot houses please tell me how and where you fastened them in? I've seen your pictures but need specific "Fastening In" information. As usual, all responses are appreciated and more photos appreciated even more.

I climed all over one at Crow's Nest Yachts in San Diego last November. Fit and finish top notch. Everything on the boat is beefy and appears to be very solid and slightly overbilt like the rest of the line. This is a big wide open heavy duty boat. Way beyond my means but very nice.
