What length trolling motor are you running on 23SEs?

Sorry I can't help you with the length. But I know that once you have a TM, you will not have a fishing boat without one. It will be a great addition for fishing the Kennebec, especially if you fish the deeper spots. I've had mine for 3 years and I haven't touched my anchor in that time. I'm...

Nice area! I finally got to fish in Casco Bay this summer with a friend. Do you fish or just like to cruise?

    Parker 1801 repower

I agree with Wart. I have a 2022 Suzuki 140BG on my 97 1800. It came with the 3 X 14 X 21 aluminum prop and the SMG4 gauge. I trailer my boat so no bottom paint, and I don’t have a T-top. Other than a trolling motor my boat is mostly original. I just touch 40 MPH at 6100 RPM and my comfy speed...

Sea Swivel Trolling Motor Mount, Parker 1801 trolling motor mount

For me, I had to have the trolling motor in my hands before I considered any mounting solutions. I have an 1800, so no bow locker, but having that TM on the boat gave me a good visual on how it would function once lagged down. The solution will become evident once you start laying out the pieces.

Bad or corroded connection somewhere would be my guess, and where I would start to troubleshoot.

Boat Wanted 2501 CC Parker DV twins

Maybe there's some confusion between your 2 posts...1st post on 10-25-22 says "twin 200HPDI's". Yesterdays post says "2023 Yamaha 200's" I would think that alone could account for the difference of opinions?

Sold 2018 Parker 2320 SL DV Fore Sale $69,900 217 hours

Its probably not "what" you were telling him. Its probably the crass attitude in your message and telling him nobody wants his boat. Just comes across as demeaning, rather than constructive.

Best Stick On Fish Tape Measure?

Pin striping and a label maker, measured from the battery box. Its on both sides of the boat and has held up great for over 2 years. Measuring is super quick and easy and the big girls get back in the water quickly.

1996 18 CC with original 115 Yamaha 2 stroke charging problems

First and cheapest, check all your wires and connections for corrosion. On a boat that old it could be something as simple as that. Most of us with those older models have gone through all our wiring and you'd be surprised at what you find. One of the electrical experts here can help with the...

1801 & Minn Kota Riptide Terrova Quest

I have that one also. No way this comes undone. Plenty of threads make it very secure. My TM comes off after every trip and this plug is as snug as day 1.

    Hi

Did you top it off before your trips? As long as you know you have plenty of fuel, keep using it to see if it moves. If it doesn't after half a tank or so, then you may need to check your sending unit. Nice rig! Will you be launching from Marblehead on the Saco river?
