    Parker 2320

If the tank looks good from the top that indicates the vessel was well taken care of or kept under cover/dry storage . Unfortunately I don’t believe there is any good way to test a tank and I’d say run it until symptoms emerge. Unlike many products today these vessels are well built and worth...

    Parker 2320

For starters I don’t believe they ever made the 2320 in a modified V (please correct me if I’m wrong). Odds are it’s a deep V (21 deg dead rise at transom). I would highly recommend a survey. I purchased a 1994 2320 a few years ago and a survey found my roof was rotten and a few electrical...

Is it safe to lag screw in a tall seat pedestal?

If you decide to go that route mark and drill the holes (a tad oversized) then fill with epoxy resin. Once set drill thru the epoxy and lag into that. If the caulking ever fails and starts to leak your deck core is protected from water intrusion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    kicker motor install 2520

I’m a firm believer in a backup plan. Seatow and other towing services are not available in my area and I prefer to be self reliant when possible. I have a kicker and will always have one as long as I own a single engine vessel. I’ve been caught out 25 miles with engine problems before and it’s...

1997 Parker 23 DVCC power questions

The 23 DV is a heavy hull. Personally I would look at 250hp minimum and strongly consider a 300. When weather and waves gets sloppy the additional torque is priceless. I have a 225 on my 1994 2320 and when it’s sloppy and loaded heavy I really wish I had more hp Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    FLIR to sell-off Raymarine

    FLIR to sell-off Raymarine

Haha I assumed the term “remote” was sort of misleading. Yep my dash got a bit busy. The flow meter , thermostat and remote kinda clutter it up a bit but everything is available and easy to use from the helm (for me). Some of my fishing partners are afraid to touch anything on my dash. Sent...

    FLIR to sell-off Raymarine

Where my remote is located it is very easy to operate underway. It’s a one hand operation and it’s intuitive enough to learn that I don’t need to look at it much anymore . Garmin makes a great product as well and I’ve had the opportunity to use both. Personally I do prefer Raymarine (I fully...

    FLIR to sell-off Raymarine

Correct. The rmk-10 is a full function remote so I rarely use the touch screen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    FLIR to sell-off Raymarine

I have the axiom 12 Rv with a rmk10 remote control. I’ve been very impressed with it so far. The refresh rate is very fast . If you have the opportunity to play around with one approach it with an open mind and you may be surprised. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    FLIR to sell-off Raymarine

Have you tried any of their newer axiom series displays? I have one on my vessel and with the quad core processor they are very fast to change pages and very user friendly. It’s been well documented that you are not fond of Raymarine and use their low end dragonfly series as your example. As far...

    Flotation bracket

What your explaining has been done. I’m exploring the same idea myself. I’m undecided if I’m going to fabricate 2 aluminum tanks or simply expand the current flotation portion of my bracket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks sharp! Are the thru hull fittings original? You may want to consider replacing them with stainless ones. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

How does she do with the 250 hp? With my 225 I’m cruising about 27-29 mph at 4400-4500 and 39 mph at wot (light) usually that’s closer to 37 with gear. *calm seas of course. She’s no speed demon by any means but when it’s sloppy out I just bury the tabs and punch thru. Sent from my iPhone...

1994 Parker 2320 extended cabin open back project

The transom looked pretty clean so I was wondering where they were. Yes this model is very heavy in the rear. The battery relocation has helped but loaded heavy with gear and fuel it still can get a bit of water on deck. My next plan is to fabricate aluminum buoyancy tanks and mount them under...
