Here’s some excitement from fighting from the cockpit. It’s not pretty and shows how dicey it gets with the outboards. My wife got a little excited so video isn’t perfect. You can fight a fish ok from the cockpit if it’s out away from the boat but once it’s up the to leader things happen fast.

Tunagi—Was able to run the new livewell/washdown pump this weekend. Both worked great. The new washdown is way better than the old one. I did try running both at once. When using the washdown it decreased the livewell flow minimally.

I’ve had good luck with Rockford speakers and amps. They’ve been on the boat for about 4 years with no issues. The ones under the gunnels routinely get sprayed with water. My father has the poly planar boxes on his lobster boat. They take a lot of abuse outside fishing year round in Maine...

Did a quick sand and re-gel of the bilge. New bilge and livewell pump in place. Just need to wire and plumb. Went with the Rule 800 for the livewell. Replaced the old wash down with a jabsco hot shot 6. I’ll do an update once it’s in the water and operational. Comments/critiques appreciated.
