    I stand corrected it was such nice lay up of glass it looked like wood With out careful looks d light. Using a light yeah,there is a half moon like area pure glass and not the thick core I. The rest of transom. Smart by Parker helps to avoid any potential rot in this area.m

    Year ago when Dale was active here, he had great pics of the solid build and over-built wood on Parkers. On my boat, the whole transom is encased sealed big beefy wood. Break the seal, ie: drill into, tap with screws, and trouble can start.

    You’ll enjoy the 2300. Noansweres for your question, but they can go in about 2 1/2 feet of water with a soft mud bottom. 1 person , 1/2 tank of gas, were the specs before forward progress was suspended until floatation dynamics changed 😂

    I use transom tie down straps that are basic short rackets as mention by Warhog. Check US Cargo Control,mthey make straps of all kinds and lengths.I would say 2” wide and either endless or with 2 rubberized hooks and all in for $15 you’ll be done.

    I ve always coated the plug and threads with Axel grease. My marina launched my boat last year so no idea what went one. it is good and stuck and won’t come out. Any experience in removing the 3 screws and outer brass flange on a Parker? . Any suggestions :

    I went from Yama to Zuke , Zuke is heavier . Move up one hole , mount higher one hole, from the Yama mount as a starting point.

    RE-powered with a Suzuki 250 from my Yama 250 on my 2008 2300 DVCC . I had cables for shift on the Yama and now with the Suzuki. Don’t even notice them.

    Made one out of good reinforced clear hose off the roll at the hardware store and GHT connectors. It’s lasted 6 seasons so far.
