    Live well water intake valve?

I had the same problem, as described at http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB2/vie ... php?t=4661. Since I closed the valve, I have had no water coming into the live well. On my 23 SE, the valve can be reached through the hatch near the stern where the oil tank is located. It is a lever-type...

    Battery charger/conditioner/maintainer install

Nice job on the installation and the photo documentation. After fishing with Capt. Kevin yesterday, I can attest to the well-organized and spotless condition of the Megabyte. Here is a photo of Kevin winding in our only striper of the day. It was not large enough to keep. However, we...

    Leakage problem solved

My 23 SE has a live well beneath the leaning post. I do not use it as a live well -- instead I use it for storage, including several tackle trays. At the end of my first trip of the season, as I retrieved the boat from the dealer and ran it to my summer dock, I found the live well filled to...

Saw a trailered boat with triple Verado 300s

In order to keep the black-engined legions happy, I thought I would report about the power excess I saw today. I commute home from Washington to Annapolis along Rt 50. Today I saw a large boat (still shrink-wrapped) with triple Mercury Verado 300-hp engines on a flat bed trailer. When I...

    Wanted 21' CC DV

I have had my 23 SE up for sale for a few weeks http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB2/vie ... light=live . I just checked the Parker website to get weight specs. The 2008 21 CC hull weighs 2750 lbs. My 2001 23 SE also weighs 2750 lbs. So if towing weight is your primary concern, the 23 SE...

    Portable Bait Tank

I have a large polyethylene barrel that has been listed on Classic Parker (For Sale or Wanted forum) for a while (http://www.classicparker.com/phpBB2/vie ... light=live). It would make an excellent live well. Although it is adverstised for $50, you can have it for $10. John Veil Annapolis...

    Is a 200 HPDI sufficient

I have a 200-hp HPDI on my 23 SE. It has been a highly dependable motor with more power than I need for that hull. I do not have any advice on whether it is sufficient for a 25' mod-V hull.

2001 23 SE - price reduced to under $20K for quick sale

I listed my Parker 23 SE in the Tidalifish classified ads over Memorial Day weekend. I have not had much interest (I know my timing is bad because of the high gas prices) so I decided to lower my asking price considerably to $24,000, and will consider other reasonable offers. Here is a great...

2001 23 SE - price reduced to under $20K for quick sale

After six great seasons of running my beloved Parker 23 SE, the Hate to Wait, I have decided to sell it. I plan to purchase a much smaller and lighter boat that I can keep at home under the deck. The boat, motor, and equipment are all in very good condition. I bought the 2001 Parker as a...

    Loudspeaker

My VHF radio has a quiet internal speaker. I bought an external speaker that just sits in the electronics box next to the radio. In the photo, the radio is on the right, the speaker is the white rectangular shape between the radio and GPS/fishfinder. The external speaker has a plug that fits...

for those looking to add a spotting tower

How about this custom model. It's not a Parker, but there are good creature comforts on the spotting deck.

    wanted large console electronic box

At the time I bought the boat from them in early 2002, they charged me an extra $400 for the parts and to install the new electronics box, windshield, and grab rail. I have no idea what the parts or labor cost today.

    wanted large console electronic box

When I bought a used 2001 23 SE in 2002, I had my dealer remove the original standard windshield and rail and replace it with an electronics box and taller windshield and rail. I think your dealer could order the parts for you. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth the cost.

John - For the past two seasons, averaged over all engine speeds, I have averaged almost exactly 3 mpg. I rarely run above 4200 rpm, and usually run at 3200 - 3700 rpm. I have a 200hp HPDI on my 23 SE.

First trip of the year -- two minor problems

Yesterday I took my Parker out of winter storage for its first trip of the year. I don't own a trailer, so I have my Parker dealer winterize the boat and put it on blocks for the winter. This spring, I waited too long to ask for a launch date so I had to settle for the first weekend in May...
