the yamaha performance bulletin for a 23 parker with a 200 hp ox-66 is very optimistic. as i recall, something like 4.0 MPG @ 4000 rpm's.

my best mileage is a about 2.5 mpg. maybe i have to many jig heads on-board.

what kinda numbers do you guys get............2 and 4 stroke.

I would think that the numbers in the Yamaha performance bulletins are done on a new boat with no 'extra' gear, light on fuel, and with no more than 2 people.

How many pounds of jig heads are you carrying Cap? :D

kevin, next time i see ya on the water, i will show you what i carry, and how its arranged....kinda show-n-tell!

I would enjoy that!

John -

For the past two seasons, averaged over all engine speeds, I have averaged almost exactly 3 mpg. I rarely run above 4200 rpm, and usually run at 3200 - 3700 rpm. I have a 200hp HPDI on my 23 SE.
