    Tree/stump removal

Nice job. That's why we have day laborers here in So Cal!

New (to me) 2005 2120 PH

Congrats! You'll love it. I downsized from a 24-footer and I have more fishing room on the 21. Being inside the warm, dry pilothouse is a real plus on a cold, windy day. Enjoy!

Weight and Towing 2120 or 2320

I normally tow my 2120 with a diesel truck, but from time to time I use my 2001 landcruiser and have no problems at all. I don't think I'd do it with a 23 though.

    @!!*&&! Banged my head again!

I'm 6'9"; learned to duck a long time ago....

    Garmin 440 tracking lines

I've got the 540s, but I think the instructions are the same. From the main screen select "Information", from there select "User Data". That should give you the options to view and delete tracks.

Water Tank To Run Engine In At Home

80 gallon stock tank. It's oblong, about 2.5-foot wide by 5-foot long. You can run a long time before heating up the water. I used to use a plastic drum I had cut the top off of, but I added one of those dole-fin type things and it wouldn't fit in the drum anymore. I keep horses so I had...

    Transducer Install

For what it's worth, here is where the dealer rep located my B60--works great with no interference. With that B164 you ought to be able to see whether a coin is heads or tails on the bottom! Also, here is a link to Airmars installation instructions with suggested locations...

Need Help locating B60 'duce on a new 23SE

Sorry, I don't know how the bilges compare from the 23', but here is the installation on my 2120. Also, here's a link to the installation guide with proper locations. http://www.airmartechnology.com/uploads/InstallGuide/17-364-01.pdf

    Garmin 440s

I've got the 540S with the airmar b60 transducer and it's great. Even my wife has the controls down pat. A larger screen would be nice but I've got limited space. Don't scrimp on the transducer.

    2120 Performance with F150

For what it's worth I love my '07 2120SC with the 150. Perfect for So Cal/Mexico fishing, reliable, economical, plenty of power. I'm a big guy--6'9", 325#, and I usually have a full bait tank (another 300#), lots of ice, gear and the wife, so the saving in weight was important to me. I have...

    Forward mounted trailer hitch.

It works great if you require more manuverability. Also try JC Whitney on line, they have them too. Problem is too much weight on the front wheels and not much in the rear, so traction is an issue if you are trying to go up or down hill. http://www.jcwhitney.com/CURT-FRONT-MOU ... _10101.jcw

    livewell on 2120?

I've got a 36 gallon Pacific Edge. Keeps bait very well.

    2120/2320 fuel economy

When I head out in our 2120 the boat is generally loaded with two big people, 36 gallon bait tank, full fuel tank, lots of ice and plenty of gear, so it's pretty well loaded down. In decent seas I find 3700 to 4200 rpm to get me between 18 and 22 mph which I like as a cruising speed. Based on...

2120sc - launch and recover alone?

Ditto what bigeye said (except I'm 6'9" and 300#). Easiest boat I've ever launched. With a youngster you'll appreciate the cabin too.

    9.9 or 15 HP kicker?

Do they make a 15 hp high thrust? I thought it was 8, 9.9 or 50hp? If they do have a 15 the extra weight will probably be more of an issue than the extra 5.1 hp. I had the 9.9 on my 24' skipjack and it was great; I'll be adding one to the 2120 if I can figure out how to squeeze it in.

    jrc radar

The unit is complete except the main cable from the display to the dome was cut about 6 inches from the dome. It was working fine when I took it off my old boat three years ago and has been sitting in a cabinet in my shop since then. As far as I know if you get a new cable it should work...

    jrc radar

They made a 1000, 1500 and 2000 so I don't think they are interchangable. You might check with JRC and see what they say.

Which model are you looking for? I've got a JRC 1000 I took off of my old boat.

Yamaha 150 4-stroke throttle tension adjustment

If you go to the Yamaha web site under parts and service you can view service manuals. There are instructions for adjusting throttle friction. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/outboard/se ... nuals.aspx
