Any Maine fishermen having a great start to the 2010 season? Plenty of bait fish (herring & mackeral) around. The Saco River and Bay seem to be full of stripers and some rumors of blues also. The tuna should be moving north up from stellwagon shortly!!!!

A big thing to stay ahead of with these newer four strokes are the internal zincs. I think the 08 model has something like 10 internal pencil zincs. I agree w/ the previous lower unit oil statement. Not a necessity.

After the planes are sanded, would a antifouling paint work compared to a 2-part epoxy barrier coat? Is this coat like a primer to hold the antifouling paint? Thanks for the advice on the zinc/surface area's.
