'02 2310 tow vehicle question

I just got a 2310WA with a galvanized trailer and need to upgrade my tow vehicle (tacoma). I was wondering if the new ford f150 with the 2.7ecoboost will tow this boat? I typically tow no more than 7miles each way, but will need it on the rare occasion for 30 miles. I know the 5.0 and the 3.5ecoboost will tow it, but like the fuel economy of the 2.7. My second option is the silverado with the 5.3.

Yes with the tow package the 2.7EB is rated for 8000lbs towing.

I have a 2015 F150 3.5EB with 3.55 gears and Max Tow package....It's rated at 11,800

I ended up getting the 2015 f150 with the 3.5 ecoboost motor like yours. Pulls the boat with no issues. Thanks for the suggestion
