Hello. New to the site and appreciative of all the good information available here. Have a 2004 25SE with a F225 on an Armstrong bracket. Currently have the black 14.5x17 SS Yamaha prop and turn 5800 @ 38SMPH. Currently mounted on second hole. Getting some ventilation down-wave and in turns. Wanted to inquire if anybody is running a 15" four blade on a rig like mine. Based on the numbers above, I think a 17 pitch will be too much. Was informed by a prop shop that the 15" four blades do not bite as well and that 17 is the lowest recommended pitch on a four blade. Was thinking Rev4 or OFS4, but am now thinking a 15x15 three blade might be best option. Can anybody weigh in with an opinion? Thanks very much.
