1800 CC Anchor Door

Anyone having this issue? 1995 Parker 1800, my anchor door opens while underway. Must be flexing in the forward bulk head. Any remedies? Different latch people are using than the barrel bolt?

My old 23SE would do that too. I replaced it with a catch that had a pin so I could lock it down. http://marinepartdepot.com/ststha.html

My 1800 does it cause the pin is not long enough. Simple fix is to put a small piece of shrink tube over the pin so it grabs.
