1801 Trolling motor help needed,,,,,,,

2009 1801 that has a high front bow rail. I need to figure out how to mount a trolling motor, I am willing to either mount it outside the rail or regular mount inside the rail and then make the rail removal n the area necessary to deploy the trolling motor.

Have you considered removing the railing permanently or converting it to a shorter(lower) railing that terminates short of the bow?

Removing or replacing the current rail is not an option. I'm going to either install the TM on the outside of the rail or make a small part of the rail removable with clamps. I'm hoping to see what others have done like this.
