Short comment. I have a '96 2530 with Volvo IO. Sits in water all summer. Very little maintenance of outdrive. I treat outdrive, trim tabs, props with aerosol ant-fouling paint.

I have a 2000 Parker 2520 with an I/O that sits in water for 6 months.I love it.If you maintain it and change everything each year they are trouble free in my opinion. The box in the back is only 3 ft. Plenty of room for fishing.Just my 2 cents.
