Stunning! Your ship “KILLBOX” Rules! And your transport “2011 Ford F-450 Lariat” is Killer also. Your customization of the ship is overwhelming and truly inspiring. Well done Sir! - I have to ask: clearly you have spent a shiny nickel to create such a combination of ship and transport system but why not paint the bottom and drop her into a slip? I have a cute little 2120 DVSC with a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 and I run it to the local dock and drop her in the water on the weekend. I find doing this alone a simple challenge depending on the tide and wind. I can only imagine that a 2820 would be tricky to tow and set in the water every time you want to take her out. Why tow?

Awesome setup!
Love the tackle organizer... and the tow rig!

Go get those tuna! :)

Smittles1179,

To answer your question about dropping the boat in the slip, I don't like the ocean environment, it's harsh on the boat personally, and the boat has always been stored indoors in our business complex. This tradition continues from the original owner Darren, he did the same thing in Ocean Isle, NC. Our launch area is not to far away from home. You're right about it being a big boat, it takes a team to get her in and out of the water.I guess that’s the small price you’ll pay for such a big boat. Thanks for your comments!

Great looking setup, I am assuming you tow as shown in the picture, what is the height for towing with the tower?

Yes I do tow her. The tower actually folds in half. It folds back into the cockpit area. That being said 13.9 ft when folded.

just curious - what was the estimated price tag to retrofit the boat? You did an amazing job
