Well, today was the day.
I generally fish until the first or second week of December, but after Thanksgiving I'm taking a boat to FL, so my season is done.

Winds out of the NNE @ 12 kts, 43 degrees and cloudy with about a 6" chop.
I hustled across the bay at 23kts to meet Jimmy at Matapeake, and it was a nice solid run.
Boat and motor ran like a Swiss watch.

Here are a few images from the trip.
Always a bittersweet trip.

Always a sad day Kev. I didn't even get a chance to enjoy the fall season thanks to Sandy. I pulled it for the storm my house got destroyed and its been sitting in my drive way ever since. Countdown till spring is on.

Very true Mike, and I hope the down time in your shore house ends up being minimal.

On the bright side, I'm running a 48' Hinkley down to the west coast of FL after T-giving.
That should be fun. :)

Sounds fun!! Make sure you take some pics!!!

Ahhhhh to be retarded i means retired.

Not in Annapolis. Stevensville on the Eastern Shore at the BOE Marine lot.
Jim picked me up at Matapeake and took me to his shop where I'll spend the winter.

If you go ahead and order the "Nasa Hatch" it will be there when you get back from your delivery trip. :D

And that will give Megabite a Good Christmas present.

I thought that was Matapeake. I just assumed annapolis because it's in your signature.

Land rent is too expensive at my boat yard, that's why I go over to the eastern shore.
Also, having it at BOE allows me to make use of their ships store if I need any project supplies.
