2024 21 SE Hull Logo Removal

I was told by the dealer last Fall that many owners remove the metal "Parker" logos located on the sides of the hull back near the transom.
The hint i got was to use fishing line.
Has anyone done this and how did it work?

The shiny logos are plastic with a shiny metallic finish on them. The detailer hit the corner of one of mine with the buffer and it is now black. I have heard people say use braid fishing line and you can saw the adhesive from behind it but havent done it myself.
