2120 front windows

First day on this forum, so forgive me if this has been asked 1000 times before.

Just started shopping for a slightly used 2120 Sport Cabin. Was wondering if they can be found with both front windows that open?? So far all I have found is the stbd window opening. Secondly, do they open to the horizontal position or something less...or are they easily removeable altogether once the wiper arm is removed?

Yes they open straight up but not sure of the year the windows both open but it might be after 2007. Would like to know if the other window can be changed out because my 2120 yr 2004 only opens starboard side.

Mine is an 06 and it was an option that year but mine doesn't have it. Fortunately, it has not been as much of an issue as I thought it may be. I had been concerned that I would need the extra ventilation to keep the cabin cool in NC but I can only think of 1 time that I thought I needed it. The cabin is the coolest place on the boat. I looked into changing out the fixed window for the opening one and it was going to be about $800 for just the window and doing it myself. It's only a $350 option new and I can't understand why anyone who orders one new would not get it. Even if you only use it occasionally it would be worth the $ just to have the option.

Was chatting with a sales rep in Morehead City, NC yesterday. At his location, the window is a $459 option.

I was also interested in the new cost of replacing the aft bulkhead and door with the 3 piece roll-up to open up the cabin. He told me that was a $420 option! I thought you would get money back for that one.

Mine is an '07 and both open. It gets pretty hot in So Cal and I couldn't imagine not having the ability to open both. It can get pretty stuffy in the cabin.

where can we get parts for the windows 2014 2120SC lock knob?

A Parker dealer should be able to order one for you. You could also reach out to Diamond Sea Glaze who makes them.

You can get the arms or just the knob from Cecil Marine online. I replaced my window arms earlier this year with parts from them.
