2520 dvsc Diesel... Performance data? Anyone own one?

Does anyone have a 2520 deep vee 4.2 dtronic diesel with the bravo 3? Does anyone have the performance data on this setup? Do you like or dislike this setup? What is your cruising and top speed and what is the fuel burn?

I have a 2530 with a 240 HP Yanmar with Bravo 2 X which should be similar +- 1 GPH and +- 5 MPH.

I cruise at 2750 RPMs @ 6.75 GPH making 20 KTS. Top Speed is around 30 KTS @ 3400 RPMs. Recommended running speed is 3000 RPMs which gets me 23.5 KTS @ around 7 GPH.

I have a 2001 2520 MV with a Merc Dtronic and Bravo 3 . Over 800 hrs , burns 3.5 gph and cruises at 28 to 30 mph . I am very happy with it . The performance was better than I expected .

Holy cow, that's 3.4 and 3.7 MPG respectively! No OB powered boat can come anywhere NEAR those numbers ....

My 2520 MV is faster than DV's but not as comfortable in a chop . The gph counts idle time and slow trolling .
But I am very happy at the pump !
