4 Rod Gunwale Rod holder - 2320

I decided to remove and replace the metal ring rod holders under the gunwale as they always seemed like an inefficient use of space. I used the 4 rod gunwale rod holders from Boat Outfitters and trimmed the lower horizontal kick plate (not sure what it's really called) flush with the outside of the vertical supports. Made sure to mount the rod holders so the kick plate wasn't interfering with the lowest most notch. Turned out pretty good. Filled the holes from the metal rings with west system epoxy .

I also mounted a 2 rod holder / tool holder also from Boat Outfitters on the aft side of the bait tank. Placed a 1/2" piece of starboard between the tank and the holder, it's solid.

Just some projects while waiting for the weather to calm down...

Factory ones are terrible. Not bad on a CC where you don't have to saw the guides into the cabin.
