E Z Anchor Puller - more of a winch than a windlass - big and not pretty, but bullet proof. I've been using mine for over 5 years now and I have no complaints. I did have to replace the solenoids last year but other than that, it just works. I anchor a lot and I highly recommend this one.

Friend of mine had the same thing on a 44' Trawler. Great system. A little large but flawless operation.

All the Bay charter boats around here have em.
They are bulletproof if you have the room on the bow for one.

Carefull you dont hook a wreck on the bottom with that thing. It looks like it would have enough umf to pull it right out of the water.......or your Parker right down!!

I like it! Function over form. If I had to do it again.......I think I would have got that model and mounted it (sealed to the deck) over the anchor locker door.

I am happy with my current Lewmar 700 and it is there for the duration. The only downsides to it are that it customarily mounts at the rear of the pulpit (per Parker) which as you have figured out by now is not exactly over the deepest part of the anchor locker. This can cause some kinks on pay out now and then which are a pain but easily rectified.

The other windlass while not as attractive as the Lewmar, reels the rode and chain over a spool similar to a fishing reel.......pretty much tangle and fool-proof. And not that it is a big deal or anything, with the latter, there is no dripping of water or wet rode stored in an enclosed anchor locker, which keeps the bilge dryer if you anchor a lot like I do.

Edit: I just looked them up online. Model #12 would be perfect for the 2320. The level distance from the back of the pulpit to the foredeck is slightly over 15". The width of the #12 unit is 15" deep by 22" wide. The anchor locker door is 24" wide with the overall width (incl frame) being 26".

You could mount (seal and screw) a nice piece 15dx25w of seafoam colored starboard over the anchor locker door and it would look perfect. Hmmmmm.......Gina would kill me.

I meant for this post about the EZ anchor puller to go on Dadsdayoff2 thread about the windlasses. I guess I hit the new post button instead of the reply button. Oh well maybe he saw it.

I had the Ez on my last boat and it was perfect, if and when I need a new windlass, I may get one for the Parker, but that will be years down the road I hope !
