Went out Sunday afternoon for Spanish Mackeral. Trolled past the Cape Henry Light and the Colonel's house for a few hours and ended up with 5 spanish and about 1000 chopper blues. Spanish aren't great fighters, but it reminds you that catching any fish is rewarding. Mostly it was nice to spend a few relaxing hours on the 2320 at about 1.5 GPH.

Just now saw your post....We've been out there several times in the last couple weeks and have done well...today we had about fifteen before the tide dropped out and the bite stopped....great place to troll around and
relax...
by the way, I'm in a parker 1801 with a blue t-top and curtains....

We have similar fishing over here on the west shore of Fishermans Island. A nice break from sitting around waiting for cobia that don't seem to be around. Time to set the sights on the deep!

Haven't heard anything about cobia catches lately, here one minute and gone the next...we did try for flounder around the cape henry wreck the other day and caught a bunch of skates but it was to be expected as the tide was dying out....friday we'll head to the fourth island and try for flounder and spades....
