Has not affected mine in 4 years of use, and I use it regularly all over the boat.
If I have a particularlly tough stain, I spray the area with a 100% solution and just leave it.

I buy the cheapest liquid bleach I can find at Wal*Mart, Costco, or Sams Club.
It doesn't have to be name brand...

Pulled my splashguard years ago, best move I made too! A Parker rep (who shall remain nameless) once told me they put it in because shoppers insist on it, even after being assured it is not necessary. That's why it's so easy to remove

Get the cheap rubbery bubble mat for under the cooler and it will stay put where you want it. I usually stick it into the v-berth floor space. Fish is caught, rinsed in ocean or raw wash, pilot holds open the lid, angler chunks in the fish, pilot slams down the lid and puts a foot on it until the ice does its job. Watch out for the coolers with the small accessory lid, they can pop out of it if small enough! Big ones that won't fit in the cooler I fold up behind the cockpit door or leave on the floor. Tie a line through the lip so they don't sail out the notch if necessary. I need a bag like in one of the previous posts.

This is why I would love to have a decent fish locker on this boat. It would be an instant hit. I would even pay to have mine modified for this feature.
