I paid more. They had a trailer and pickup is extra. add oil change, too. Owner was upset as a Yamaha dealer and stuck with mad customers. he discounted parts 20% and labor 10%. Shop in Ft Meyers FL. they knew everthing about the issues and on our boat replaced oil pan shaft area with a speedy sleeve to repair pan leaks. filed complaints with Boatus. months later Yamaha called with dead fish voice, sorry out of warranty. I was polite and pro about it and said have a good day. done the corporate business stuff before just ruins your day

Been running the boat all summer and have no issues to report.

The engine runs like new and I'm happy with the repair.

Anyone on the fence with this repair, I would recommend getting it done.
