I recently purchased a used 2100DVCC out of the classified on here and absolutley love the boat, my first Parker. The fuel gauge does not work and I honestly haven't had the time to mess with it too much to see if it's the gauge or the sending unit. Regardless both of the gauges are scratched pretty badly and hard to see so I plan on replacing both to make it more user friendly. The boat is powered by a 1998 Yamaha 200TXRS which runs great but does suck up the gas which I expected. My real question is when replacing the gauges is it worth while to upgrade the gauges to the Command Link gauges and if that's even possible with the 1998 motor or should I just stick with the original replacement gauges. The boat also has a Lowrance HDS8 with some fuel information in the electronics and again I haven't really tried to play around with that part of the HDS8. Any suggestions or help is appreciated.
