I have a 1997 2520 and the surveyor stated that the tank is "a reported 126 gallons." The language seems to imply that he had access to some data base. When I changed the sender on mine I swore a saw a label that said the tank is 170 gallons.
Did Parker offer different size tanks as an option in 1997 or could someone have already put in a new larger tank? I am the the third owner and one surprise so far was that a new VP 5.7 was dropped in around 2007. Just trying to figure out what else was down to my boat.

What's the hull model? My '95 2530 DV has a 176gal tank. I believe the MV versions have a smaller tank. That may be the cause of the discrepancy.
1997 2520 Deep V Maybe the surveyor didnt bother looking. Both surveyors mention a smaller tank but I don't think they even looked under the hatch.
