gas....?.....?

good morning everyone. I am running a 2320 250 hp 4 stroke yammy can I use regular gas. 87 octane

Most likely you have your answer by now. I have filled with 87 and Stalbil Marine (blue) and Yamaha Ring Free.
89 oct or if you have a Valvtec fuel marina is good too. It will be hard to really find a really big difference in performance and I still run the Ring Free and Stabil Marine. 87 with the RF/Stabil mix and with 800 hours in 5 seasons, no problems.
From the 20008 Manual:
e only new clean gasoline which has been stored in clean containers and is not contaminated with water or foreign matter.

Gasohol
There are two types of gasohol: gasohol con- taining ethanol and that containing methanol. Gasohol containing ethanol can be used if ethanol content does not exceed 10% and the fuel meets minimum octane ratings. Yamaha does not recommended gasohol containing methanol because it can cause fuel system damage or engine performance problems.

YAMALUBE 4-M FC-W oil or 4-stroke motor oil with a combination of the fol- lowing SAE and API oil classifications
Engine oil type SAE: 10W-30 or 10W-40 Engine oil grade API:
SE, SF, SG, SH, SJ, SL
Engine oil quantity (excluding oil filter):
5.6 L (5.92 US qt) (4.93 Imp.qt)
NOTE:
If the recommended engine oil grades are not available, select an alternative from the fol- lowing chart according to the average temper- atures in your area.

All 4-stroke engines are shipped from the factory without engine oil.


Recommended gasoline:
Premium unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 89 (Pump Octane Number)
