Just picked one up today from West Marine. They have a pretty good website for it. I think it is perfect for me since down here youre never more than 30 miles off. I think a tether or something is a good option it is pretty small so thats a good and bad thing depending on what you see it as. It has the legal crap on the box that its not an epirb but that might have to do more with commerical legal stuff than anything to do with pleasure. Hope none of you have to find out how well it works.

Fed Ex guy came yesterday. I had a chance today to open her up and take a good look and read.

I'm very happy with the purchase.
