New member - Gwynn Island VA area.
Hello to all, excited to be a member here. I bought a 23 cc deep vee blue water new to me back in February 24. Expect to be out in the Ches Bay between the hole in the wall and Cape Charles. It’s a solid boat. 225 OX66 yammy.
This summer was good but have found this boat is really aft heavy. At 4700 RPM I can get 25 mph with modest crew and fuel. Nose is high. I have trim tabs which are needed to keep the nose down. 5300 RPM max at 28 mph.
What permafoil part number would be good with my 225 OX66? Going to start with this, then move batteries forward, move engine up a hole or 2, then maybe a new prop.
