Love the site!! I was fortunate to have picked up a 1998 1700 with 1998 80hp 2 stroke a year ago last November. It had always been stored inside. and is fantastic shape. Was able to pick everything up for $6700. LOVE the boat, motor runs extremely well. Have been looking for as much info as I can find. Like the boats info is somewhat elusive.

I picked up a 1991 1700 about a month ago, found some info but as you said it is sparse. Great boat so far. See my thread in the new member forum about the 17 in Annapolis.

What speeds are you seeing and how does it handle?
