How many hours a year do you all average on your motors? Just seeing if the southern guys are able to put more hours on their boats than us mid atlantic and north east guys.

I have almost had my boat 3 years and now have a little over 420 hours. I should hit close to the 450 mark by its 3 year anniversary. so, I am almost averaging dead-on at 150 hours a year. I get most my hours in the spring and fall when I am trolling rather than chumming, jigging, livelining and spending most our time anchored up swimming with the kids during the summer.

Cool. Nice stats Richard..

I wish I knew how many miles I had on the boat. Unfortunately I didnt look at 2010c gps before I upgraded to the 3010c last fall. I know we have a ton of hours on the hook as we spend a lot to time in the summer anchored up with friends all day so the kids can swim.

On a good season (toona) I'll put on 150-200 hours of 'run' time, but as stated, that's only a fraction of my boat's use.

Pre-tuna I' log at least ~120 per season.

I put about 1 hour of runtime and 2 hours of anchor time on today. With a six month old, that was about 3 hours too much. :?

I've been putting about 50 hours per season on the 25' Sailfish. With the old 20', I was about twice that.

20 minute total run time for us today but nearly 5 hours on the hook....

kids still went swimming with the surface water temp of 68 degrees

Four years old now and only 265 hours on her. Being in grad school and living 80 plus miles from the ocean sucks! The state of the economy this year won't help matters either. At this pace though, the resale value should be higher than most.

Last few years I've done about 80 hours a year. Been lower last couple years with gas prices and other boaters wanting to share rides or meet up together more somewhere.

Most one year was about 120 hours. This fall will be 11th year.

Beats me. I don't have an hour meter. :)

I don't have one either......but according to my log book I did 245 hours last year and am at about 60 so far this year (lots of trolling during Trophy season).
On my old boat I averaged about 250/yr.
Will probably be a lot less this year with gas prices what they are....gonna have to fish smarter!

I got my boat new in mid June and hauled out first week in October last year. Put on 106 hrs mostly fishing inshore with an occasional trip over to Block Island. Spent appox $1400 on fuel.

Took possession of the new 2510 in March of 2002. I now have 615 hours on each F-115. Guess that works out to be a little over 100 hours a year. This year I'm going to be much lower. Have been very busy with high school graduation activities, family visits, and crappy WX. Because of the costs of fuel and the fact that the little woodie (see signature) is still on her back on the trailer, I'll probably spend most of my spare time this summer working on the woodie. Will save my fuel $$$ for this fall and winter at the CBBT.
