Brought the Megabyte home yesterday from the BOE lot on the eastern shore where she had spent the winter.
It was a grey, rainy day and as I came across the Bay from Matapeake, and there was only one other boat in sight.

The Pride of Baltimore II

The trip across the Bay was uneventful, and soon enough she was back home in her slip for the season.

The boat was absolutely covered in a thick film of pollen and yard dust, and the cockpit was full of tree debris. :(
Gave her a good rinse-down, but a proper bath will be in order for her after the nor-easter (forecast for this weekend) is gone.

Look out fish!

Hey Kevin, glad you got in the water and that was a great shot of the Pride of Baltimore......Too bad is was not a sunny day....

Our first day out April 15th. Portsmouth Harbor NH. Our four year old can't wait to go fishing. She was disappointed that Dad didn't bring fishing gear. So she used a hand line without a hook or bait. Good fun had by all.

Glad to see the Baltimore II plying the waters. I knew Vinny Lazzarro, one of the crew lost on Baltimore I,
from time he spent here in RI. He'd gone to URI for either fisheries or oceanography and had gone out with the kid sister
of my then fiance. He was a good guy-can't believe it has been 26 years.

In today, in WI.

Could have been sooner but weather past few weeks reverted back to more typical cooler spring.
