Look at that shine! Not bad for a ’92 vintage hull, huh?

Getting ready to launch … still have some tower install issues to sort through … wicked late launching this yeah (err, that’s ‘year’ in Boston speak …)

FYI, that's my other 'new to me' boat seen just to the left, a super tall gunnel height, deep-V Smoker Craft 14' skiff. I stole her ... bought a year 2000 rig - boat, motor (25hp e-start Nissan with controls), & trailer for $1300 ... and sold the motor a week later for $1K. Then I picked up another e-start 15hp Nissan OB (labeled and sold as a 10hp) for $251, paying just $1 over $250 so the guy could tell his girlfriend "he got more than $250 for it", haha!

Sweet :) dealings! ... but she's not ready yet for-the-water either :(

My 1996 hull is jealous!
Nice work! 8)

What kind of wax are you using to keep her shining so?

Uh oh..... Here we go....

Haha ... I use a mix of products! This was with 3M combo polish/wax, but mid-season, whilst grounded on a sandbar, I'll put on a coat of Nu-Finish or other wicked easy-to-apply acrylic polymer. So even though I always use a "mix", I'll always wax first and add [the topcoat fake finish later, as th/e wax is more durable and lasting, but the acrylic finishes are MUCH more glossy.

My tip, make sure to wash the hull first! Seriously, I know many that don't bother to  .[/i]

Same here, tho the only place I've used the polymer finish (so far) is on the motor.
I have a whole shelf full of products to choose from for the 'glass and stainless. :D
