Ran our 23 Parker from Lynnhaven Inlet to Fisherman's Island at the southern tip of the Delmarva peninsula. Floated some eels on bobbers starting at slack tide and waited for the tide to turn out. Pretty quiet and not much on the fishfinder, but we were rewarded with a 43 inch 35 pound striper. Grandson Max boated the beauty. He likes to hug the fish he catches.
Last night Max's older brother Wally was in a striper tournament with the local Contender dealer. They won the tournament with a 65 pound fish! We got Grandson Luke to lay next to it for perspective.

Great fish!

What time were you out there? I got there around 1 and we got our one fish at 230. Looks like it won't be much fun trying to fish till Wednesday.
