Any Parker owners fishing the MSSA?

gw204 and I had a great first day. Just the two of us, no planer boards and we landed 18 fish... We even took one the scales (personal best for gw204 in length) but I dont think she is in the running for anything as she was post spawn and there were some hogs being checked in... I hope tomorrow is as good but with the addition of a 40lb+ fish. I will post photos and location on Monday

Good luck to those fishing :!:

Catching 18 fish in a day is very impressive. How is that left arm feeling? :) I'm not fishing the tournament, how was boat traffic. Good luck tomorrow.

I might take the family out Saturday late afternoon/evening for a few hours if the weather looks good and fish around Matapeake to TPL.

Anthony... If all goes well (and if my company goes along with the plan), I will be in the same area on Sunday.
Brickhouse Bar to Gum Thickets and all points in-between.

Weather permitting.

Well we were fishing off of PLO the last two days. Brians fish wont hold up for anything. It was only a 44" spawned out 28lber. Today we had a tough day. We only landed 3 fish with the largest in the mid 30's. Tomorrow we will fish out of SPSP and give the home waters a go. Maybe I will see you boys out there :D

Sounds like it's going to blowing pretty good. Good Luck !

We picked up a few around Matapeake, my daughter got this one. We went out around 5pm and only fished for a few hours.

Didnt really get a chance to fish today. Our lucky charm wasnt feeling well. As all parents should, Brian brought his daughter fishing with us today. Being that there was a fairly stiff breeze south of TPL she ended up not feeling well at all once we got all the lines in the water. Between not wanting his young daughter miserable and our tiredness from fishing two long days we decided to just to bag the trip. Fishing is supposed to be fun right.. Our trip was short enough this morning to where I was able to go home and watch our youngest who has a bad cold so my wife could go to church. I can also get the boat cleaned up as she has never been dirtier. She hasnt had a full detail since last year. I am working on giving her a bath so I can maybe start to get a coat of wax on her this season

Thanks for the company Brian! It was a great weekend. 21 fish total with the largest going 44" and a little over 28lbs. (which Brian brough in from 20 bars/~240' back  )

Susqking, nice fish! I cannot wait until my son is big enough to pull in a 40" bass. He did reel in a short fish for us over the weekend though,,

Well here is a recap.

Fished out of PLO friday and sat. We had 18 fish on friday ranging from just under 20" (took a 9" shad) to 44". We had 2 right around 39-40" mark and a bunh in the mid 30's. It was an action packed day and a blast as it was just gw204 and I and we were trolling 8 lines without planer boards. Sat was very slow in the same area where we had fish Friday. The winds had swung around from SW to SE. We managed 3 fish. One was a short that my son reeled in and the others were ~30" and 35". Sunday we fished out of SPSP and we ran to just south of TPL. We got less than an hour of trolling in when he had a child getting sea sick so we just called it a day and made points with our wives who let us fish two straight days on a beautiful weekend. I was even able to wash the boat down which couldnt have been any dirtier. (she needs a good wax!)

Here is a photo of the only fish we weighed in. It measured 44" and weighed in at just under 29lbs. (I thought for sure she was going over 30lbs)

Nice fish Greg!

I went out this morning and trolled about 4 hours.
Brought home the skunk. :(

I did speak briefly with CP member Knot Many on the VHF and he indicated that nobody was catching...

Still... it was a nice day to be out on the water. 8)
