I have finally finished mt boat. Custom rod racks, tackle chest built by a friend of mine out of starboard who is a design engineer. My problem is I need someone to post my pictures. I can e-mail them to someone if they could post them. He did a great job on the chest and the rod racks. She leaves for Virginia Beach this week.

Wow...
Very well executed! Your attention to detail is great!

Love that tackle and rigging station. 8)

AWESOME. Very nice indeed. Can you post a few more shots of the port side of the cabin. Do is see two seats? Looks interesting.

Love that tackle station! Sweeet! Thats on my list. I am thinking about building it behind the captains seat with the doors through the wall in the copckpit, so I can access it from inside or out. Also love that rear station. I would not have purchased my boat without it. I drive from there more than from in the cabin. I noticed no teak in the cabin? Is this a 2008? The side windows look different than mine as well? There sure is alot of variations in Parker boats if you look closely there all a little different. I gues thats why we like them..

Wow...

What a great custom fabrication job! Your friend needs to quit his day job as an engineer and concentrate on custom fab work... High end!

kidcochiese, No I cut out the carpet the same size as the rod rack. Cleaned the glue off the hull with thinner and used Marine Text to attatch to the hull. I had to use a ratchet brace to keep pressure on the rack for about 18 hrs to ,make sure it was cured and it worked great. I actually got the idea of the way to attach them on this board from some one else.

Parker, yes there are 2 seats. They moved the pedistal seat on the port side forward enough for me to get the box seat with tackle drawers behind the pedistal. The port side pedistal is front further than the starboard seat. Since on the 2520SLD there is no bulkhead on the port side you can move it front farther because your feet can actually be under the ledge on that side. I would post pictures but I had some one else post these picts, on this site.

Maxed Out, it is a 2008

This is the first 2008 I have looked at without the teak trim on the inside. Is that a special order? Around the opening to the cabin and below the captains chair. On your boat it appears to be starboard? Great set up you must be very proud!! Do you have twin engines? If so what is your top end full of gear. I also see where the cabin wall meets the cockpit floor there is a piece of edging trim were mine is caulked? Ive noticed this on others as well. I am wondering if they forgot it on mine? I may have a one of a kind! I like the caulk so I am cool with it. One sugestion is under the gunnel where the cockpit mates to the cabin you will get water, leaves and other debri in the cabin if you do not seal it better than factory. Good luck and happy boating!

The boat was not a special order other than the seating in the cabin. I have only run the boat enough to get the 20 hr. check. I know with just 2 people and half fuel and 10hrs the boat did break 40 mph at 6000rpm with a single 250 yam.

Comparable to mine performance wise. I get 42mph with a full tank and gear @ 5800rpm in calm conditions. Keep messing with the trim. I trim the motor up to 3 bars on the gauge and no trim tabs. I would not trim above 3 bars at high speeds. You are going to love your boat I fish Virginia Beach in Dec & Jan for the big Rockfish and she does well.
