My wife and I have both grown up with boats in our family. We both love fishing and the great fun and relaxation to be had on the water. No better fun than on a Parker!

I've always admired the Parker but never owned one. My wife's dad had one bought new in 1988 and has since sold befor ei came into the picture.

I was quite amazed recently when she suggested we start looking and even more so when she insisted on a Parker!

We are both in love with the 2520 Sport Cabin. Our knees are still buckled after pricing new so we plan to spend the next year saving for a decent down payment on a real clean used.

I'll have plenty of questions in the mean time........looking forward to hearing from all of you!

Thanks,
Brian

Welcome aboard Brian!

We have a good bit of data here for you to spend many evenings checking out everyones projects and pastimes. Lots of good information has been gathered here in the past 2 years. :)

Don't forget to also cruise the "For Sale" area. You might just find what you are looking for!

Brian!

Welcome to the ParkerHood. You and the Admiral couldn't have landed in a beter place to satisfy your thirst for knowledge about Parker boats!. Where else could you find such a complete collection of Parkers-in-Motion? :D :D

Browse the different models, power combinations, compare performance data, review recent pricing info....see how current Parker owners are using their rigs to persue their boating passions! 8) 8)

It's the largest collection of Parker Paraphernalia on the Planet!

Well there is nothing wrong with that now thats a good women!!!Welcome aboard to classic Parker!!!

a few years ago my wife also encouraged me to get back to a boat. been out of it while putting kids through college. so i found a nice 23 hydra-sport ........now, with my eye on a 2520 i hope i can keep her support!
don't think i'll ever go back to the 30+ footers. i want to enjoy my boat...not live exclusively for it.
cheers! mk

Well that is a great thing you guys have great wifes and nothing wrong with that!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome! When we get our 2520 it will be our first boat. We have a two year old and a new born! Another reason I'm floored that she suggested we get one!

We both were raised in families with boats and have very fond memories on the water. We would like to give the same to our children.

My wife has four years service as a Radarman in the Coast Guard under her belt.........can you say, "take the wheel honey, I'll be fishin' if ya need me"? Ha Ha!

I'm very blessed to have a true friend in my wife and someone who shares my interersts.

She is punishing me though, by making me wait a year while we save for a decent down payment. Did I mention, she also has an accounting degree! Dang it! No hasty financial decisions! Where's the fun in that?!

Oh well, this way we have plenty of time to get educated on what's available and find a good deal! In the mean-time I'll live vicariously through all the folks here in the forum who already are enjoying their Parker!

Thanks again,
Brian
