have 92 18' ctr console, 1990 Yamaha, Caulkins trailer #3500lb boat in good condition, motor runs great. Gps/ff ect. Trailer has all new axle & bearings, tires 2 yrs old. Bought boat 5 years ago, Bottom was never painted & used in fresh water. (in salt now) making deal on 23' cc. may be selling this one. In New Jersey

Let me help you out here with some of the basics.

To get any closer in price than say.. somewhere between 5 and 15K... there needs to be a lot more details.

You mention a 1990 Yamaha: HP? Hours? Service? Prop? Rebuilt or No?

The motor probably won't be much of a factor unless it is in pristine condition to help boost the price... otherwise it is a wash... buyer will likely be thinking of replacing it.

Read through all the for sale and wanted adds here. Very useful.

Pictures are always helpful. Although they won't tell the complete story they are helpful.

What is the market like in your area?

Good Luck.

Hmmm. I picked up the boat 5 years ago. It was used in fresh water ( untill I got it). The bottom wasn't painted, very low hours. I epoxy coated & painted the bottom. I probably put about 20 -30 hrs/yr. ss prop,
the engine was never rebuilt. It was installed as a left over on the boat according to the original owner. I can't find too many 18's older then 3 yrs for sale in this area & most of those boats are around 20k.
Thanks for the reply! The engine is old, but runs like great, hopefully the next person will get a few more years out of it. Thanks for the reply. I will get some pics this weekend.
