Wow, how to create trouble in the Parker family. Personally a wa can not be beat. Full canvas enclosure offers the option of protection and openness. Easy access to the controls and side storage hatches. When fast action is needed, and you must leave the operating position, you will not hit your head on anything. In my opinion the the wa has a superior ride because of the location of the helm being further aft and not "hunkered down". That helm position also offers better visibility. The berth has no pro or con. Of course most of this is subjective and dependent on how you chose to power and operate your boat.

My friend has the wa and the only thing I don't like is the plastic window. I think it's called izor glass or something. It gets fogged up and is a pain in the butt to clean. It does fell nice and open in the summer though. I opted for the pilot house and am real happy.

I have a 2520XL and am quite satisfied. In November and December, and early March, you can shut the door and not be cold if the weather is nasty. In the Summer, open the windows to get a breeze and it is cooler inside than on deck in the sun. Not only can I lock up rods, etc. out of sight below, I can also lock the pilot house door. My only possible negative is that you are slightly isolated from everyone on deck (much of the time when trolling I sit sideways with the door open so I can see what is going on and talk to those on deck).

Whatever design you choose. you can be proud that you have a Parker!
