I found this rubber backed thin water absorbing carpet for $16.00 at the home depot. Easy to cut. It took about 15min to install. Thought it might be the answer to slippery floors.

Wow, great idea and the rug is made in the USA! There isn't a town in China named Usa, is there?
 
Platupus, I'm not certain if I have the right boat but do you have a minitower on your 2120? if yes could you pls post a few pics of it and a ballpark on the cost?? Thanks Kid

I was looking at the same stuff but the "absorbing" water ???Mildew/ dampness concern. Home Depot also has the plain vinal in rolls and sells it by the foot. May work.
