Where did you order your starboard from?
You can also buy CPG Seaboard in the sand color. Pretty much the same molecular product @ King Starboard, but I have found it for 1/2 to 2/3rds the boat store price. Plus, also buy from Plastics Distributors. If you buy from a marine store you will automatically pay a premium price  !

your toes.....so you can lean over the side of the boat and not fall out. kind of like you slide your foot under it and the pull your toe up to hook it to stabilize yourself. and apparently they make a neat shelf.

I found some on eBay. Do a search for "King Starboard Fishwhite". The color is dead on! I got a couple of sheets of 3/4 and a sheet of 3/8. The toe rails were in the back of my mind, but also plan a book rack for inside to cabin.

ReelyNauti, great looking job

ok had a half day, drove the 65 miles each way to give it a go

First off i'm glad i left the ends open to be trimmed had to make 1/8" field cut(see pics)

Bring lots of screws 1.5" 1.75" and 2"

Oh that looks terrible...... Just kidding. :D

Nice Job!!

I feel a winter project coming on.

How much clearance between the hull and the backside of the toe rails??

I was wondering exactly what you were gonna do. the 2530 had it from the factory. Wonder why some do some dont. Looks good.

Well as you all now know BOATS ARE BUILT BY HAND....lol "NO way DUDE"

So these measurements might not work for you

I measured three boats i like and Foound the toe rails to be 2 1/8" to 2 1/2"

I like 2 1/2" cuz with shoes or boots on in rough water the boots fit under rail with out getting stuck!!!

The rib to rib measurements were 48" apart

But the depth was varied from 2 1/16 " to 2 7/16"

I went with 2 1/16 heavy to allow for drainage and debris removal...

The height of the toe rail is 3.5" ....

Screws will vary ...i counter sunk all pre assemblies with 1.5" ss #10

I fasten to ribs with #10 2" on a slight angle to cross the ply's(instead of screwing through/in between a ply...

Be CAREFUL when mounting block by wires in hatch open hatch and pull away while pre drilling and when screwing.....!!!

Reel,

The project turned out great, you did a great job. A quick question, you cited the price of the starboard, but not where to purchase. Can you please provide the vendor.

Thanks,

r,
