After talking to Ken I when with the 4x16x19. My max RPM is 5600 with the factory 3x16x20. Ken said go with the 19 since I had room for more RPM. Yesterday I pulled boat to power wash bottom and the Suzuki mech. Said to tow boat to his marina and he was going to check some things on motor. I was telling him that I ordered the 4 blade. He said I should of went with the Suzuki 3x16x181/2 prop. Who know. If this prop doesn't work for what I want it to do I will keep it for a spare. I just want the to be on plane and hold on plane at lower RPM. 4000 would be nice at 28 mph. Now I'm at 4500 at 25 mph.

Having the Suzuki 250 does anyone knows witch one to go with. On prop? Powertech Premium Cushion-Lok Hub design or Square Hub to receive the Vortex/Flo-Torq hub kits... Ken ordered the prop but never said with one I'm getting. I will call him to day.

I can't speak for your boat..... We started with a 3 X 16 X 17 Suzuki

I got a hold of a 4 blade of equal size from Prop god's to try. It was a Pig. I returned it and we ran the Stock 3 X 16 X 17.

That was until Very early morning 0n this past 5th July when we bent the tips.

Had the prop reworked. It needed a little less pitch, as the RPM was down a Lil.

Having the prop checked.....It was actually a 3 X 16 X 17.8.......So almost a 18.....

NOTE: I have messed with a bunch of Suzuki's....and within that have messed with a bunch of NIB Suzuki props.
What I have found is that Every Suzuki prop is a higher pitch than stated......Anywhere from 1.25 to .5 more pitch.

My point is take your brand new prop and a 12 pk to your local GOOD prop shop and hopefully they have a computer that they can scan it with and tell you EXACTLY what you have.

You don't know where your going , until you know where you are ..... Don't guess....Know Exactly!

Put the new 4 blade on today. Very happy with it. Better plane. I'm at 30 mph at 4K RPM. That's 5 mph more then 3 blade. I had 3x16x20 prop. Ken said drop the pitch to 19. He nailed it!!! My rpm was 5600 wot now 5900 at 41 mph. I only lost 1 mph. I have a full tank of gas 150 galls. Had my Dad on boat. Boat gets up on plane without using my tabs . I know I could just of use my tabs with the old prop but now I do not have to. I just wanted to be at 4K at 30 mph. I got that now. This week I will do the gas miles. I know most guys go by GPH. I go by GPM. I was at 200 miles at 100 galls of gas. I will see this week with the new 4 blade. I alway have 5 or more people on the boat with lots of gear. My son and I scub dive. We always have out gear and two dive tanks. This boat is heavy. This past weekend I had 6 guys and the boat would not plane. Two guys had to come to the front. I will not have this problem anymore. In 2006 Parker move the tank up a foot or two. I have 05. She is ass heavy.

I'm happy with the numbers. If my wife found out I spend $500 on a new motor that's runs great. I'm little nervous because boat is running to good. We all know that can go south fast!!! I have no extra cash if something goes bad. I been putting 220 miles on boat in less then 2 weeks. The gas is killing me. Just found out that a gas truck comes to the marina every week at $220 a gall. That's a $140 saving per gall. That will help. Did anyone hear from Dale? I haven't seen him post.
