Im new to the site but love all the info on Parker boats available to anyone on this forum. I am sadly selling my boat that I love so much to move on to a bigger Center Console(hopefully another Parker)
-1996 Parker 1700 Center Console, Very clean kept indoors all its life. 2001 Suzuki 115 H.P. Four Stroke with low hours (460) run perfect. Maintained by marine mechanics (new lower gear fluids, oil, waterpump/impellor, fuel water seperator, thermostat...)
- Custom made fiberglass doghouse enclosure with glass windows
-Lenco trim tabs (really improve ride, does not pound)
-Brand New Raymarine A-70D chartplotter/fishfinder (retail $1599.00)
-New Standard Horrizon Matrix VHF and 4 foot Comrod Antenna
-All safety equip required by USCG (life vests, throw cushion, flare kit, fire ext....)
-Road Worthy Trailor with new hand winch and jack ( has bearing buddys)

This is the a very seaworthy boat and rides ALOT bigger than your typical 17 foot boat. Trim tabs make the boat surprisingly smooth and the four stroke suzuki is Very efficient on gas, it sips fuel. That is a very nice looking boat !
I was looking at on same size in Mashapee Ma
Was no where near as nice as that one
And the 17' are very hard to find at all
I heard parker only made like 246 of them
Great price for that nice of a boat!

Are these Parker 17cc less seaworthy comp. with 18 cc? any major difference? Could not find any reasonable data on it?

The 1700 is 1 foot shorter and 6 inches narrower than the 1801. There Were only about 250 of these made before Parker decided to just offer the 18 foot center console. The trim tabs make the boat ride alot better than u would think, come see for yourself if seriously interested. There are no battery boxes in the corners of the stern (like in the 1801), they are located in the console, which makes more fishable room in the boat.
