Does anyone have a lead on where to find Velcro-style strips with a hard plastic backing? The cushions on the front of my center console are held in place by a tube-in-track system with velcro on the opposite end. The hook-side velcro mounted to the console is in the form of a hard plastic strip that is attached to the console with screws. Unfortunately it's worn out and needs to be replaced. If anyone knows where to get this the information would be much appreciated.

That's it! Thanks very much for the help!

Albiejunkie, I try to stay away from the adhesive backed velcro if at all possible. The adhesive never holds on one side or the other, and it always seems to end up being a sticky, useless mess. The velcro in this application is stitched into the cushions, and screwed into the console. Thus, it's mechanically fastened and cannot peel away. I generally dislike using velcro as a mounting system altogether unless something REALLY needs to be quickly removable, but in the case of these cushions I prefer it to the metal snaps that always end up breaking or corroding. Just my take on it, your results may certainly vary.
