So I'm looking at buying a 2520 but with the pulpit it's about 14" to long for my slip. I'm going to chance it and just put it in there and beg for forgiveness. If it becomes an issue my plan b was to shorten the pulpit. Has anyone ever tried this? What is pulpit made out of, fiberglass and wood, all fiberglass, or is there some metal in there?

Thanks

I personally wouldn't want to mess with that project. Anything can be done with enough time, money and talent though. I think that the pulpit is just glass on the sides but on the top its marine ply and glass. You would also have to shorten the bow railing. Hopefully, you will just get away with it? Good luck

I would ask before I rent you might get ejected and loose your slip fee. I own my dock in a boataminium we are allowed 30' excluding pulpit and swim platform some of our boats are 36' loa.
