I had the boat (2520XL) out this past weekend in the South Florida 90+ degree heat and was glad I was driving from the pilothouse. Much cooler inside - and no sunburn!

I had a question for esfishdoc though - which Rev 4 did you go with?

for a 2520 XL you should need a rev 4 17p.where in fla are you?

I have the 15p rev 4. I will someday have it reworked to a 16. I believe with the 17 it would be just a but much for the F225.

Thanks for all of the replies. They are all helpful. I guess it's decision time. To be honest, I will probably go with the best deal I can get between the 2320, 2520, and 2510. I haven't heard a bad thing about Parker Boats and my recollection of diving on the 2120 is that it was a great all round boat.

We all have our preferences, but you are correct. There isn't a bad one in the bunch.
Let us know what you decide!

If you think reading it is confusing you should try actually doing it. :)

Still loving the "16P" (which is actually an 18P) rev 4. To recap quickly,

- bought the 17P rev 4, RPM was too low (5200-5400)
- had it repitched, the prop guy found it to measure at 19P not 17P, so he set it up at 18P
- with the "18P" (16P according to the rev 4 philosophy) the boat is perfect, planes instantly, does not lose bite ever, and gets great MPG and top end at 5800R loaded heavy (5 people, tackle boxes, coolers and 3/4 tank of fuel).

This is all on the F225 on a 2520SL 16 degree hull. If you have a F250 the 17P as it comes from the factory will probably be fine.

esfishdoc, if you do get your prop worked on, please report as to whether is measures at 15P or not from the factory when you find out. PM me if you remember. Just curious.

Thanks.
