I have owned my 1998 Parker 2520 DV since November of 1997. I figured it was time to do a bit of updating. This year she was rewired with new boca tech switches, new Simrad electronics, new V berth cushions and new 300 Suzuki. Lastly was the mocha over black Sea Dek.

Why do you have a ON/OFF switch for the depth Sounder?

Once in a while I see this.

The Depth Sounder has a onboard ON/OFF switch.

It would be like going into your bedroom and having to turn 2 switches ON to make the light come on.

I have a alum boat here right now....It has a Standard ON/OFF Rocker switch in the switch panel that you have to turn that ON to have Power to the other switches.

That's getting taken out.....That spot will be used for courtesy light switch. The Master ON/OFF for the whole panel will be the HOUSE switch on the BEP cluster.

I like the little storage units you have in your v berth. Would you mind telling me more about them?
