Despite the hot action right out front from me (bay bridge area) I decided to make a trip to Solomons for a change of scenery. I picked up my buddy gw204 on the way down and had my son with me. It was a very slow day. We landed only 4 fish with the largest going 35". I wasnt getting the bait marks that I got in the bridge area and it was just hard to find any kind of regular action. We landed a 34 and a 35 in the afternoon two passes of one area but it died after that and couldnt find the bite again. I hope to fish at home on Monday.

Despite that It was a cold day outside (21 degrees when we left the dock), I had the enclosure up and heater going. It got almost too toasty in the wheel house Despite the slow action it was a Nice day, comfortable day on the water with my friend and son.

You got some fish :D

You made the right decision to not fool with the CBBT. This morning the winds are 25 with gusts to 30 and it's going to get worse.

I definately made the right decision. Gale force winds are in effect. Heck I dont want to go out and clean yesterdays fish right now.

Wow just cleaned the two of the four fish we kept. Fingers are frozen.

Wind is blowing 34.5mph at TPL right now with gusts to 45

My CBBT crew sans gw204 is fishing with me tomorrow out of Annapolis. I hope the winds lay down!!!!! 8)

Monday afternoon looks to be the best time as of right now.

I had a crew at the CBBT Fri night, Sat, Sun, and Mon. We sat out on Sun. Best day was Sat...caught upper 20s and slot-fish all day long. Arms and fingers were cramping. Mon was a bit tough, but we managed to fill the box with several 27" fish. Only one slot fish that day, and nothing over the slot for the entire trip. The eelers at the High Rise were getting slobs...but I'm not an eeler.
